Technology Development Board (TDB) and PHD Chambers of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) signed MoU on 25th April, 2018 to scout for emerging technologies/ technological areas of National Importance such as (but not restricted to) Agribusiness and Food Processing, Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals, Electric Mobility, Water and Waste to Energy, Automobiles et al and identify factors driving those; also to develop policy frameworks for easy adoption of technology, upscaling and manufacturing leading to its commercialization. Both the organizations agreed to identify industries with technology-driven projects which may have social and economic implications and generate employment on immediate, medium-term and long-term basis. The MoU was signed by Secretary TDB, Dr Bindu Dey and President PHDCCI, Sh Anil Khaitan in the presence of office bearers from both the organizations in TDB’s office.
